Erupting Soap Experiment
This quick setup is great when you want something engaging without a big cleanup. It only takes a few steps and a microwave to turn an ordinary soap bar into a fluffy science surprise.
Ingredients
- 1 bar of Ivory soap other brands won't work the same
- A microwave-safe plate
- Microwave oven
Instructions
- Unwrap one bar of Ivory soap.
- Place it on a microwave-safe plate.
- Microwave on high for 1 to 2 minutes.
- Watch through the window as it expands.
- Let it cool before touching.
