Elephant Toothpaste Experiment

- Activated Yeast
- Dish Soap
- Blue Food Coloring
- Red Food Coloring
- Latex Gloves
- Protective Eyeglasses
- Plastic Bottle
- Plastic Tub
- Fork
Collect all the necessary supplies.
Put on your latex gloves and safety glasses, then place the empty bottle into the tub.
Carefully pour hydrogen peroxide into the plastic bottle, then add a little Dawn dish soap. Gently swirl the bottle to mix.
Drop a few drops of food coloring onto the bottle’s edge.
In a separate measuring cup, combine yeast with warm water and stir with a fork.
Gradually add the yeast mixture to the bottle.
