Divide the paper plate into four sections.

Roll small balls of play dough to represent eggs and glue them onto a green construction paper leaf.

Cut strips of construction paper and roll them into a caterpillar shape. Glue them in the second section.

Shape a piece of play dough into a cocoon or chrysalis and attach it to the third section.

Create butterfly wings and body shapes made of play dough. Place this in the fourth section.

Write the names of each stage on small pieces of paper and glue them in the corresponding sections.

Let everything dry.
