Ingredients
¼cupof water
1½tbspof contact lens solution with boric acid and sodium borate
2/3cupsof white Elmer's glue
3cupsof foaming shaving cream
10drops of neon blue food coloring
You'll also want to have:
a large mixing bowl
a mixing spoon
plastic placemats or table cloth
whale toys or figurines
Baby oiloptional
Instructions
First, pour the glue into the mixing bowl. Add the water, and mix well.
Add in the baking soda and mix.
Spoon in the shaving cream and stir.
Add the food coloring. Stir well until the slime is completely blue!
Now for the fun part: slowly add in the contact solution and stir. Keep stirring until you get the fluffy slime consistency you want.
Pour out the slime onto the plastic mat and hand knead it. Be patient! It takes a while to get the slime to stop feeling sticky and feel fluffy and soft and easy to work with. If you feel the need, use a little bit of baby oil to keep the slime from sticking to your hands while you knead.
After kneading for a few minutes, you should see the blue fluffy slime your kids will love to play with. Just add whale toys and kids and watch the fun!
