Homeschool Curriculum – Grade 6 and Junior Kindergarten

I usually love this time of year, curriculum planning but I’m still undecided on some things so it hasn’t been as fun. I should purchase BFSU to plan out for the year, but I have so much to do, I’ve been putting it off. Everything else is pretty much set and I will be purchasing it later in the month. I was just on amazon to take a look at the current prices for our books and SOTW is no longer in stock, argh! Here is our homeschool curriculum list for next year. I love getting new books. We’re still debating on sending M2 to J/K but I think he will be home at least for this year. I already have everything for him except phonics, because we started his reading and math already. 1. You mentioned looking for curriculum on Amazon. I’ve found some good deals on there. But do you also know of used curriculum sites? You can save some money and get gently used curriculum at good prices.
You’ve got a good list of books there. I’ve used paperbackswap.com to swap my books when we’re done with them. That’s another way to get books for free, basically.
One last website I’d like to share with you is http://www.homeschoolliterature.com/
You can find a list of books by grade and a book club, among other things. But what we like is that they have books about homeschoolers written by homeschoolers! 🙂 Something different for us homeschoolers.

  2. Admiring the hard work you put into your website
and detailed information you provide. It’s great to come across a blog every once in a while that isn’t the same unwanted
rehashed information. Excellent read! I’ve bookmarked your site and I’m including your RSS feeds
    to my Google account.

  3. Latin? You will be adding Latin to your lesson plan. I am in awe.

    1. We had to chuck it in the middle of the year, we didn’t have time when things got too crazy with the move.
