I love taking walks in the fall and it’s a great way to discuss what happens with the changing seasons, all of the colors, and how the trees and animals adapt to the cooler weather.

Fall might just be one of the best times of the year because the temperature is finally settling down, the bugs are going away and we’ve sort of started getting back into a daily routine now that all the summer fun is said and done.

And as you know, I love to incorporate seasonal learning as much as possible. This is why this fall printable is such a great way to kick off fall learning and fun.

My kids tend to agree with me that fall is an amazing time of the year so they’re always happy when we dive into fall-themed learning!

Supplies needed for this fall printable

You can use a bingo dabber or dot marker to find all of the letters that you need. Or you could use a counter like a bead, rock or block to place on top of the correct letter.

I always leave it up to my daughter and she’ll use her bingo dabber or the pom poms.

Besides that, you really don’t need any sort of other supplies at all! These worksheets are really that simple.

And don’t forget to incorporate reading into your everyday fun. You can never go wrong with having books lying around the house for the kids to pick up and read.

Recommended Fall Books for Kids

Check out these fun fall books for kids! I love finding new books that show the kids that reading is so much fun! The more that they find ways to read and get entertained by the books, the more that they’re going to want to pick up books and read!

Since I’m a big believer that reading is all about building blocks and learning, I think that books are such an important part of everyday learning. What I love best about these books is that they’re great for a wide variety of readers.

Some books have more words than others and all have fun and bright pictures. This gives the kids time to absorb the words on the pages and look at all the pretty pictures as well.

These are just a few of our favorite fall books so have fun adding to the list! A quick search on Amazon or a trip to the library will reveal so many more choices, too!
